The Real Truth- History of the MIW (3) Edition

Most Recent MIW

Probably the most popular MIW to date. We expanded from four or five people playing five parts or so to ten to twelve playing two or three. This time around the Commissioner was Phalo. The rise in importance of the MIW Hardcore title PEAKED during this time, and there were always Hardcore matches taking place. Also a young man named Gary Monstruo1 had a meteoric rise and tragic fall. Robbie Keith consistently attempted to steal the Intercontinental Title from Justin Wilson, the only remaining member from the original MIW.

Feuds

Gary Monstruo vs Triple X Xavier Xavier Xavier for the Heavy Belt- Gary flew up the ranks of MIW recording somewhere close to 300 wins in a row, without one single defeat2. He eventually entered and won a tournamentfor the Heavy Belt Championship, defeating Triple X in the finals. Brutal matches would follow, always ending up with Gary on top, until Triple X challenged Gary to a Darling Stadium Match. The premise of the match was that the only way to win was to throw your opponent off the top of Darling Stadium. Unfortunately this match never took place as, in a fit of jealousy, the MIW locker room up-roared, beat Gary to a pulp and then dragged him down the street under a car. After miraculously living through that, he was then burned to death on the Vulk's front lawn.

Robbie Keith vs Mr J: the Hardcore Cowboy for the Hardcore Title- Robbie was unwillingly named the Hardcore champion by General Manager Justin Wilson as a punishment for trying to steal the Intercontinental belt. At this point the Title was defended 24/7 a la Crash Holly and the matches always had five to six people in them. Robbie would get brutalized for ten plus minutes oftentimes before Mr J would come clean house, leaving Robbie as the Champ still. The match then over Robbie would take a beating from Mr J.....but never did they have a match.

Ill Kamikaze Squad vs The Assassins for the Tag Team Championship - Always a street fight between these two teams. Always for the tag team titles.

Title Situation Circa 2003

HeavyBelt: VACANT (the tournament to crown a winner after Gary's death never took place)3

Intercontinental: Justin Wilson

Hardcore: Robbie Keith

Tag Team: The Assassins

What's Next?

The real reason why I decided to write these.....this brief history of the MIW....uh, yeah. You guessed correct! MIW will be making yet another comeback. Hopefully. I've taken over the reigns as the Commissioner, being that I am STILL the only remaining member of the original MIW. I plan on putting the IC Belt bake around my waist, as I never lost it. There are a few other storylines working. So that's why....yup.

1 Hopefully you actually read this, it will be important later on. Gary Monstruo was nothing more than a jumpsuit filled with clothes that we told people was a foreign exchange student from Germany. People still believe this story when we tell it....so I figure why not come clean?

2 Robbie Keith claims to hold several victories over Gary, but these matches were not sanctioned by the MIW. Therefore, they do not exist in MIW's History. Fun fact.

3After Gary's death Triple X Xavier Xavier Xavier cut many promos carrying the Heavy Belt. Claiming he was the Heavy Belt Champion, but MIW never recognized this, and asked for the title back.
